Vintage Pottery Terrier Dog Teapot

This unique Terrier teapot (1940s-1950s) was made by Cortendorf of Germany; best known for their teapots that were in the shape of animals. This whimsical teapot is primarily black and cream with a pretty pink bow accented with a raised pattern to represent the coat detail of a real dog. Measuring 8" tall x 5" long, the bottom is backstamped with the trademark WC Made in Western Germany and inscribed 77005/27. This teapot is in excellent condition with no cracks, repairs, and very light crazing. The inside is clean.
